Ay, Malika. God knows how many times I have felt this way. We want something so bad, that we push so hard for things to be the way we dream. Hopelessly we follow our heart, and patch the holes to better things, and it only makes things worst. Result is failure, fatigue, and emptiness. Wondering what we could have done better, and what we did wrong.
One thing I have learned in life is that there is no right or wrong way of doing something. There is no good or bad people. There is just the people you should have in your life that illuminate your light, and there are those who dim it.
Cherrish those people who make you smile inside, who make you feel like a million dollars on your worst day. Those who stand by us when there is no one else left. Those who love us regardless of what they hear.
